SkyCity Adelaide

A grand sculptural gesture, SkyCity Adelaide is at the heart of the commercial and cultural rejuvenation of the Riverbank Precinct.

Within the façade’s signature curvilinear form, the redevelopment incorporates a casino; luxury hotel; event space; signature restaurants; roof top bar and upgrades to the historic Adelaide Railway Station Building.

A transcendent interiors palette includes stone, glass, and embossed finishes; vertical surfaces fold like ribbon. Engaging local artisans, elements inspired by the local flora are intricately woven throughout.

The heritage site is conservative and stately, with dark moody finishes in stone, wood, leather and metal. Drama is created through creative lighting and the injection of bold colour. Decorative wall and ceiling embellishments evoke a bygone era in keeping with the architectural period of the historic building.

The glass atrium between both buildings creates light-filled spaces, showcasing the station’s restored north façade.

The contemporary design of the new building highlights the grandeur of the existing building; traditional and contemporary, like dance partners delicately embracing.

Authentically Adelaide, SkyCity Adelaide creates a stunning new tourist destination and catalyst development for the Riverbank Precinct, bringing unrivalled luxury, hospitality, retail and entertainment to South Australia.
