A new lifestyle destination accessible by land and sea, our design draws inspiration from its maritime surroundings, complemented by a refined, neutral materials palette.

Emphasising community and connection, the design incorporates a blend of inviting and inclusive open air gathering places. The waterfront promenade, framed by large, overhanging roofs on the North and East sides, reinforces a sustainable, passive approach to the environment, but also creates comfortable spaces that encourage visitors to extend their stay.

The positive reception by the newly masterplanned Newport community is testament to the close collaboration between the design, planning and development teams from the project outset.

Buchan was appointed to the project after winning the design competition for the new dining, retail, and wellness destination.
