Merdeka 118 Mall
The 'Merdeka 118' development is a seven-storey glass domed shopping centre which sits within the podium of the 118-storey skyscraper.
In the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Merdeka 118 Tower is the world’s second tallest tower, at 118 storeys. Occupying seven storeys, the 140,000sqm mall accommodates over 330 retail stores, an Entertainment and Lifestyle Precinct incorporating a 12-screen cinema complex and multiple Food & Beverage Precincts.
The mall’s organic theme is translated through sculptural design elements and unique water features. An expansive glass ceiling brings filtered natural light deep into the centre of the building.
Buchan is working alongside Fender Katsalidis to design and deliver 118 Mall for client PNB Merdeka.
